Given command in the Persian war in 350 by Constantius II when he marched against Magnentius, he defended Nisibis against Sapor’s attacks Zos. II 45.2, III 8.2 (στρατηγός). He may have been dux MesopotamiaeiRole name: dux Mesopotamiae or more probably comes rei militarisiRole name: comes rei militaris (the magister equitum was Vrsicinus 2).

COMES DOMESTICORVMiRole name: COMES DOMESTICORVM of Gallus a. 354, appointed on Gallus’s last journey to the West to allay his suspicions Amm. X1V 11.14.

He was sent with Procopius on a mission to Persia in 358 and was still there in 359 Amm. XVII 14.3 Lucillianus comes, XVIII 6.17 cum comite Lucilliano.
