Nemesianus
His earlier offices are given on SB 1005 (= IGR I 1220) Thebes (Egypt) (on which he recorded his visit to the royal tombs): Νεμεσιανὸς πολίτης τοῦ θείου ποιητοῦ Ὁμήρου(a) ἀπὸ καθολικῶν [Αἰγύπ]του(b) καὶ ἀπὸ ἡγεμόνων(c) μει.συα... διαφόρους πράξεις μαηοῦρος(d) καὶ καθολικὸς ὢν τ[ῆς] διοικήσεως(e) ἱστορήσας ἐθαύμασα.
(a) He was presumably a native of

(c) PRAESESiRole name: PRAESES of an unknown province, before 340 (see below).
(d)-(e) Perhaps restore ‘μετὰ δὲ ἄλλας διαφόρους πράξεις μάγιστρος᾽. He will have served in the res privata and then in the summa res (cf. Adauctus and Domnus 3; also Anonymus 151). These posts may be the same as the following two.
?CRPiRole name: CRP (?East) a. 340: 340 Aug. 12 CTh XII 1.30 dat. Edessae (MSS Bessae), addressed ‘Nemesiano comiti’; the law deals with the res privata.
V.P.iRole name: V.P., ?CSL (East)iRole name: CSL (East) a. 345: 345 May 12 CTh XI 7.5 dat. Nisibi (MSS Nitzibi), addressed ‘Nemesiano v.p. com(iti) larg(itionum)’.
Possibly the last two offices were central.
