In 351-2 her neighbours tried wrongfully to turn her out of her property, and Julian made a special journey to Phrygia despite sickness to help her Ep. ad Them. 259 D. Her connection with Iamblichus (and therefore her paganism) nο doubt explain both Julian’s assistance and her neighbours’ hostility.
